Dampak Kerja Sama Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI) dengan Perpustakaan Institut Pemerintahan Dalam Negeri Dalam Pengembangan Fasilitas

Abstract

Introduction. Facilities as a supporting element for library activities and programs should be adequately provided because appropriate facilities enable libraries to create an environment that supports access to information. However, one of the most common obstacles in the facility development process is limited funding or resource providers. To address this issue, the IPDN Library established a collaboration with Bank Negara Indonesia (BNI). The primary objective of this collaboration is to serve as an innovative breakthrough to improve the performance of IPDN.

Data Collection Methods. This study employed a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, document studies, and literature studies.

Data Analysis. The collected data were analyzed descriptively to examine the implementation and impact of the collaboration between BNI and the IPDN Library, as well as to identify the library facilities developed through the partnership.

Results and Discussion. The findings indicate that the IPDN Library has successfully collaborated with BNI in the development of library facilities. The collaboration has resulted in the provision of facilities and infrastructure, spatial planning, and interior design, which have contributed to improving the quality of library facilities.

Conclusion and Suggestions. The collaboration between BNI and the IPDN Library has had a positive impact on library facility development. Similar partnerships between libraries and external institutions are recommended to support the improvement of library facilities and services.
